“That’s Just So Mean!”
By David Jernigan of Hansa Center for Optimum Health
Nothing means anything until you give it a meaning. When someone does something that you think is “Just so mean” it is only your perceptions and label you are attaching to the situation. Many times we react to what is perceptively a “negative” situation in what we think is a justified retaliation of negativity in return. The reality is that the universal truth that anytime we allow feelings of lack, feelings of fear, feelings of hurt, feelings of anger, and so on, we are literally poisoning every cell in our body! All of the hormones, neurotransmitters, and other body chemicals ALWAYS match the emotions you are allowing. Any negative perception is poisoning not just the body, but the mind, and spirit as well. Unforgiveness is withholding some of your light and love from your being to that person, and is literally like drinking poison hoping the other person will suffer. Realize that everything you thought was so terrible in your past does not determine who you are NOW. You are not the sum total of all the crappy things that have happened to you. You are who you want to be NOW! You should write the question, “WHO DO I WANT TO BE NOW?” on a piece of paper and tape it to your mirrors, on the refrigerator door, and on your computer screensaver. Recognize how you keep getting what it is that you are getting in your life, either negative or positive is by your own internal labeling of the events of your life. When you see lack in the world you attract situations of lack. When you think people are being mean you project your heart energy to attract more of what you will think is mean. When you start to consciously, purposely, and consistently project your desire for only joyful interactions with everyone in your life, and only situations of complete sufficiency in all situations, then and only then will you begin to draw these positive things into every moment of every day! By your own understanding and utilization of these universal truths, you become your greatest advocate and healer of your own health. Realize that if you are sick already with cancer or truly any illness, that you are always either poisoning your entire system or you are applying healing ointment to your system through purposely and consciously building your ability to shift your head and your heart to see only joy, peace, and sufficiency of all things. “That is so Nice!”
